Given each fall during the Chamber's Annual Meeting, the Excellence in Business Awards recognize the many ways in which local business has enhanced the Green Bay area.
Each year, we acknowledge a business and a not-for-profit business.
2007 recipients:
* For-profit company: Nsight/Cellcom
* Not-for-profit company: Family Services of Northeast Wisconsin, Inc.
BUSINESS NOMINATION CRITERIA
• Company must have 50
or more employees located
in Northeast Wisconsin.
• Nominated firm must be
a member of the Green Bay
Area Chamber of Commerce
• Company must demonstrate
– innovation in business
practices
– business success
– community involvement
• Companies may nominate
themselves, or be
nominated by another
Chamber of Commerce
member.
NOT-FOR-PROFIT BUSINESS CRITERIA
• Not-for-profit must have an IRS 501 designation and be located in Northeast Wisconsin.
• Not-for-profit must be a member of the Green Bay Area Chamber of Commerce.
• Not-for-profit must demonstrate response to community needs, organizational operating success and innovation enhancement.
• Companies may nominate themselves or be nominated by another Chamber of Commerce member.
