Based on the foundation that academic and technical subjects can be taught in ways that combine hands-on technology, critical thinking skills and real-life applications, school-based learning brings district curriculum, school-to-work coordinators and community representatives together to share in the development of curriculum, instruction and assessment. Area educators are encouraged to use applied and integrated approaches to student learning.
