Educators in the Workplace is a Green Bay Area Chamber of Commerce initiative that connects 6th to 12th grade educators and counselors with a unique work experience opportunity with a local employer. Often referred to as educator externships, participants are placed with a local employer and given the opportunity to earn hands-on experience working in a variety of disciplines within the organization. The experience offers participants the ability to learn about education and work-related requirements within their selected industry and enables them to better prepare their students. Educators in the Workplace also offers the opportunity to earn graduate or undergraduate credits along with a generous stipend.
